Bellingham IVF and Fertility Care center is a very family oriented and caring facility. It began as a husband and wife team 10 years ago, and although a little larger now, it still has a family feeling to the practice. Our patients are encouraged to bring their children with them during office visits because all of the staff at Bellingham IVF just love to watch and play and entertain them.
The minute you step through the door you will see the difference between our office and other physician’s offices. After being greeted with a cheerful hello from Karen or Lynda, you can sit on one of the comfortable sofas and have a friendly chat with Karen for a couple of minutes before your appointment. At Bellingham IVF we view your time as important as ours and you can expect that your appointment will be on time. It is rare that anyone spends more than fifteen minutes in our waiting room.
With Dr. Branigan completing his infertility fellowship at Harvard Medical School and two embryologists with over 25 years combined experience in the infertility laboratory, you couldn’t ask for a better place to start a family.

Emmett Branigan, M.D.
Dr. Emmett Branigan was born in New York State but raised in New Jersey. After college he attended Marshall Medical School in West Virginia on a ski scholarship, graduating in 1981. Dr. Branigan then moved to Seattle where he did his OB/GYN residency at the University of Washington graduating in 1985. In 1988 he completed his Fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Harvard. Dr. Branigan returned to the University of Washington in Seattle to become part of the Faculty from 1988-1994. It was in 1994 that he and his wife Antoinette (who also happens to be an embryologist) moved to Bellingham to start a successful private fertility practice. Dr. Branigan and Antoinette have 2 beautiful daughters. His hobbies are golf, skiing and of course family.
